The Bible:
We believe that the Bible was written by man through the divine inspiration of the Holy Spirit as the authoritative Word of God regarding life and faith.
(2 Timothy 1:13, 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:20, 21; Psalm 119:105,160, 12:6, 18:30; Proverbs 30:5)
The Trinity:
God
We believe in the one living and true God, eternally existing in the trinity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
(Genesis 1:1, 26, 27; 3:22; Psalm 90:2; Matthew 28:19; 1 Peter 1:2; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
We believe that God reveals Himself to us through His creation, and He makes Himself known more clearly to us through the scriptures.
(Psalm 19:1-6, 2 Timothy 3:16)
Jesus
We believe in the deity and humanity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death on a cross through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His second coming when He returns in power and glory.
(John 1:1; Matthew 1:18,25; Hebrews 4:15,9:15-22, 9:27-28; 1 Corinthians 15:1-8; Acts 1:9-11; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17)
We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
(Philippians 2:1-4)
Holy Spirit
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by Whose indwelling power and fullness the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
(John 14:15-26, 16:5-16; Ephesians 1:13-14)
We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential for the salvation of lost and sinful men and women.
(John 3:16, 5:24; Titus 3:3-7)
Salvation:
We believe that salvation through grace is a free gift to all who believe in their hearts and confess with their lips that Jesus Christ is their Lord and Savior.
(Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8, 9; John 14:6, 1:12; Titus 3:5; Galatians 3:26; Romans 5:1)
We believe that salvation is through faith and faith alone. Righteous living and good works are the evidence of faith, as good fruit is produced in our lives.
(James 2:14-16)
We believe that sanctification (becoming like Christ) is an ongoing process of allowing God’s character to develop in us.
(Romans 6:19; Galatians 5:22-25)
We believe in communion as a remembrance of a believer’s faith in Jesus’ atoning love at the cross.
(Matthew 26:26-30; Mark 14:22-26; Luke 22:19,20; 1 Corinthians 11:23-29)
We believe that those who are saved will be resurrected unto eternal life with God. Those who are not will face eternal separation from God.
(John 3:16; 1 John 2:25, 5:11-13; Romans 6:23; Revelation 20:15; Matthew 25:31-46)
Church:
We are an evangelical church focusing on the good news of salvation brought to sinners through Jesus Christ. We agree to carry out the Great Commission as commanded by Jesus Christ.
(Mark 16:15, Matthew 18:18-20)
We believe in the one true Church, the bride of Jesus Christ that was formed on the day of Pentecost.
(Acts 2)
We believe that God gives all believers spiritual gifts for the strengthening and edification of the church; they are active and relevant today.
(1 Corinthians 12:4-11; 1 Peter 4:10)
We believe in the rapture of the Church.
(1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, Matthew 24:29-31, 24:36-42, 1 Corinthians 15:51-57)
Baptism:
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, whom God sends to live in the heart of each believer at the time of salvation and causes us to be born again as new creations in Christ. As an outward sign of this inward change, our practice is to baptize believers by water in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (full immersion for those able). We perform dedication ceremonies for those unable to express their salvation on their own.
(Matthew 3:11, 3:13-17, 28:19-20; Acts 2:4,2:41; Colossians 2:12; Ephesians 2: 8-9; Romans 6:4)
Life:
We believe that all people are created by God in His image but separated from God by sin; without Jesus, we cannot have a relationship with God.
(Genesis 1:27; Psalm 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6a, 59:1-2; Romans 3:23; I Timothy 2:5)
We believe, as Christians, that we are set apart from the world by God’s grace and His forgiveness. Our citizenship is of Heaven.

We believe in interacting with gentleness and respect in all things, adhering to God’s Word as the only truth.
(Romans 14)
We believe in following the biblical model for conflict resolution and living a Christian life as outlined in the Bible.
(Matthew 18:15-17, Romans 12:9-21)
We believe in turning away from a life of immorality as defined in the Bible and pressing toward a life of righteousness as we follow the perfect example of Jesus Christ.
(Galatians 5:19-21, Hebrews 13:4, 1 Corinthians 6:18, Mark 7:20-23)
We believe that God defined marriage as a covenant between one man and one woman.
(Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:5-6; Mark 10:6-9; Romans 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9)
We believe that human life is sacred, beginning at conception to its natural end. We must honor the physical and spiritual needs of all people following Christ’s example. We believe that every person should be treated with love, dignity, and respect.
(Psalm 139:13; Isaiah 49:1; Jeremiah 1:5; Matthew 22:37-39; Romans 12:20-21; Galatians 6:10)
We acknowledge the existence of Satan, the instigator of evil, the defeated adversary of God and His people.
(Gen. 3:1-5; Isa. 14:12-17; Ezek. 28:11-19; Job 1-2; 1 John 5:19; 2 Cor. 11:14; 1 Tim. 3:6; 1 Pet. 5:8-9; James 4:7; Rev. 12:9, Rev. 20:1-3, Rev. 7-10)
