This individual found comfort in the book of Isaiah, “but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint” (Is 40:31). In regards to the healing of Autism, this person understands she lives in a fallen world. Later in life, she discovered that there were a lot of special needs on her father’s side of the family. She sees her son as a blessing from God, but in a way that is most wonderful and most challenging. The blessing came through painful times.
